Emma Andrews

Driven by an insatiable thirst for learning, growth and development, I’m constantly cultivating and curating knowledge and education to improve my - and your - quality of life.

Within the field of health and wellness, I’ve always been drawn to cannabis and holistic nutrition. Both have played a transformative role in my own wellbeing, and now my career.

With insights gained through a powerful combination real-world experiences and formal studies, you’ll find me reporting on industry innovation and trends that matter, unpacking stigmatized or buzz-worthy topics, investigating the supply chain, and researching the emerging science of wellness.

My goal is to empower you to be a conscious consumer and take an intentional approach towards what you put in, and on your body.

My professional cred includes leading brand and marketing strategy as a Partner at Abbott Keefer Consulting, I’m an award-winning Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN), certified New Product Development Professional (NPDP), with advanced education in cannabis, and culinary nutrition.

I live by the mantra
‘lead with ease’.

I’ve been exploring natural and alternative approaches to health and wellbeing for over two decades now.

My personal health journey includes overcoming asthma, allergies and chronic bronchitis in my youth; and as an adult, anemia, food sensitivities and reproductive health issues. I have struggled with endometriosis since my teens, and it created many complications on the route to achieve pregnancy (which I talk candidly about on social media). My family also faced the loss of my Dad in 2009 to a fatal and sudden heart attack when he was only 53. Despite the rough seas in my past, I’m proud to have used all these experiences as a catalyst for growth.

I’ve centred my career around education, advocacy, and innovation within natural health, which for me includes cannabis. I believe in a holistic approach and an integrative wellness model that encompasses the mind, body and spirit. This includes supportive diet, lifestyle and supplementation modifications alongside evidence-based allopathic treatment to improve our quality of life.

What Movement Means to Me: I move my body to sharpen my mind. It’s also an integral part of a proactive approach to longevity. Move it or loose it! I like to live my life as if I will be a Centenarian (make it to 100+).

Favourite Cannabis Ritual: A low-dose edible and a bowl of a sativa like Blue Dream, or Skunk Haze before a long run on the weekend when I can float along with my thoughts, get immersed in my music and find my flow out on the seawall.
